I came to jewellery design as a way of passing the time during a period of convalescence. Little did I know at the time that it would become a passion! And, as many of my friends and family members had already been gifted with one or another piece of my jewellery, I had to find a way to sell my stuff if I wanted to make more. Soon enough, Miel Designs on Etsy was opened!

I enjoy making colourful, cheerful, feminine pieces and strive to use the best quality materials I can afford. I use all kinds of materials: various glass beads, Swarovski crystals, pearls and gemstones and various metals. (I especially like 14k gold-filled and vermeil, sterling silver and copper...)

I am inspired by the colours of nature, but also by home design and colour combination trends. Custom orders are always welcome.

Alors, voilà ! Un petit espace web afin de vous montrer ma collection de bijoux faits à la main. J'utilise des pièces de toute sortes : verre de Bohème, verre indien, cristaux de Swarovski, perles de métaux divers (j'affectionne particulièrement le cuivre, l'argent 925 et l'or doublé) et perles, euh, en perle.
